Making Wow.
What/Why/Who
On average, a typical Creative Director looks at thousands of portfolios a year. After a while, everything starts looking the same – the same jokes, the same stunts, the same "viral" ideas. By the time they're done scrolling through all the work, they can't even remember whose book they were looking at in the first place.
"Making Wow" One Show Edition exists to change that.
Our goal is to create award-winning advertising that makes a Creative Director stop scrolling and mutter, "Wow. That won a One Show pencil." Through stunts, experiences, products, or unexpected brand collaborations, we create work that solves One Show client briefs in ways no one saw coming and create award-winning case studies that stand out in your portfolio.
CLASS: PART 1 September to December This class is designed to train you to do high-level, provocative work that breaks through the clutter of One Show entries. We'll look at past winning ideas and break down the case study narratives behind the concept. After, we'll practice ideating on past briefs and learn the process of creating One Show-worthy entries.
CLASS: PART 2 January to March This class is dedicated to winning a One Show pencil for your portfolio. Taking all the learning from Part 1 of the class, we will focus solely on developing winning entries for the 2027 Student One Show.
Ultimately, that's how these classes help you get a job. Not by playing it safe, but by breaking through the noise.
You don’t just make ads—you make award-winning work that gets remembered, talked about, and most importantly, hired.
